ROSIN is one of the fourteen H2020 cascade-funding hubs, all closed. Its object — ROS-Industrial — has its own entry in this Atlas's software dataset, and the ROS-Industrial Consortium Europe it fed is hosted by Fraunhofer IPA, also a project partner. CORDIS lists seven organisations, the project's own site six: the seventh, Hitachi Energy Sweden, is the former ABB Power Grids entity.

The REEM-C humanoid that EUROBENCH offered to third parties is built by PAL Robotics, the project partner that this Atlas already tracks — one of the rare cases where a European benchmarking programme and a European robot maker meet on the same machine.

SPARC has no grant agreement: it was a contractual public-private partnership, not a project, which is why it appears in no CORDIS record. Its EUR 700M of Commission funding was matched by roughly triple that from European industry, for about EUR 2.8bn in total.

No budget figure is published either on ADRA's own site or on the Commission's launch page consulted on 3 September 2026. A figure of about EUR 2.6bn circulates in secondary sources, attributed to the DG RTD partnership fiche; it is deliberately left out of the numeric fields of this entry rather than published without a primary source.

The member count is published as "over 180", not as an exact figure, and is therefore left null here rather than rounded. ADRA's own site names CAIRNE among its five founders, while sources contemporary with the 2021 founding name CLAIRE: the association was renamed, and the date of that rename is not established by the sources consulted here.

Why does this page exist when CORDIS already publishes every European project?
Because CORDIS knows contracts and does not know robots. It publishes the grant agreement, the budget, the dates and the list of legal entities, in full and as open data: no page here will beat it on that. What it cannot tell you is which of the organisations you already follow a programme gathered, or what survived the programme once its funding stopped. Each entry therefore carries two lists: the partners that already have an entry in this Atlas, with the role each played, and the partners that do not. The second list is the honest measure of how much of a programme this Atlas actually sees.
Does European robotics still have a programme of its own?
No, and that is the fact this page is built around. SPARC, signed on 17 December 2013 between the Commission and euRobotics, put EUR 700M behind robotics alone for 2014-2020, matched by roughly triple that from industry. It ended in December 2020. The instrument that replaced it, signed with ADRA in June 2021, covers artificial intelligence, data and robotics together, and euRobotics is one of five founding members of that association. The change is structural, not budgetary: robotics no longer has a counterpart seat, it has a fifth of one.
How is the status computed, and will these entries age badly?
The status is never stored: it is computed at every build from the end date — closed once that date has passed, ending within six months, active beyond that or when no end date is published at all. A hand-written status would already be wrong the day it was typed: CORDIS gives euROBIN until 31 December 2026 while DLR announces 30 June 2026, and this page shows both instead of picking one. As for ageing: an entry whose value is 'this programme is running' dies on its end date, which is why every entry carries a 'what it left behind' field. A dated, sourced archive is the opposite of stale data — nobody else keeps one.
