EUROBENCH — EUropean ROBotic framework for bipedal locomotion bENCHmarking

The REEM-C humanoid that EUROBENCH offered to third parties is built by PAL Robotics, the project partner that this Atlas already tracks — one of the rare cases where a European benchmarking programme and a European robot maker meet on the same machine.

What it left behindEurope's first benchmarking framework for bipedal systems: the test benches built in the project, kept operative with their safety systems to serve third parties, and a REEM-C humanoid made available to open-call users, plus eleven peer-reviewed publications on exoskeleton and humanoid performance metrics.

Trajectory

The dated, sourced shifts in this project's life: licence, governance, archival, a component opening up. What the brick did, not what it announces.

  1. Project start Opening

EUROBENCH starts, to build Europe's first benchmarking framework for bipedal robots.

  2. Project end Closing

EUROBENCH ends; the test benches remain, the funded programme does not.
