WebRTC
WebRTC is the open standard for peer-to-peer realtime audio, video and data, jointly specified by the W3C and the IETF. In robotics it has become the workhorse of teleoperation : the transport layer underneath products such as LiveKit. It has no SPDX licence and no single country of origin: it is a specification, not a piece of software.
