LeRobot is Hugging Face's open-source library for real robots: a hardware-agnostic control interface, a standard dataset format (LeRobotDataset) for recording teleoperated demonstrations, and implementations of imitation-learning and vision-language-action policies such as ACT and SmolVLA. It deliberately sits outside ROS.
