In July 2026 it unveiled GENE.01, a fully functional, sensorized humanoid platform developed from concept in six months, with a full-body multimodal skin that detects touch, proximity, force and temperature and an open-sourced digital twin description; its first task-specific industrial configuration is a welding humanoid for shipyard operations, developed with Fincantieri under a partnership announced in February 2026. Co-founded in July 2024 by Daniele Pucci (CEO), Alessio Del Bue, Marco Maggiali and Andrea Pagnin, all formerly at IIT, and by entrepreneurs Davide Rota and Jeffrey Libshutz, it closed a €70 million seed round in December 2025, led by CDP Venture Capital's Artificial Intelligence Fund with AMD Ventures, Duferco, Eni Next, RoboIT and Tether.
